They'll try to lose weight, try to be prettier or more masculine, change their hobbies, interests, religion even--to be good enough. To fit the mold.
You know, the mold that we see in blog posts and all over Facebook and Twitter...the ones that tell us exactly who to be to get the guy or the girl or the job or whatever it is that are little hearts desire.
We'll push and pull and stretch ourselves till we finally reach what it is that we were yearning for but even then--when we finally make it--we fall short. We could've done it a better way or in quicker time or with less help.
We're never satisfied because we're human.
But we should be satisfied. We should be a lot of things--happy, grateful, content, mesmerized by the overwhelming notion that our bodies and minds,despite their many flaws, rise each morning to serve our souls and nothing more.
